Our Story

Mount Pleasant Masonry was founded in 2023 by a team of tradespeople who had spent years working on the older homes and estates throughout Westchester County. Mount Pleasant is full of houses built in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s - Colonials and Tudors on wooded lots, with stone foundations and brick facades that have been through decades of cold winters and wet springs.

Those homes need a specific kind of attention. The materials are different, the methods are different, and the problems that show up - efflorescence on basement walls after the March thaw, deteriorating chimney mortar after a hard freeze-thaw cycle, heaved walkways from clay soil that never quite drains right - are things you only really understand if you have been fixing them in this specific area for a long time.

We are based in Mount Pleasant and serve communities throughout Westchester County and into Connecticut and New Jersey.
